What does Eggz do with your personal information?

Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.

The types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product or service you have with us. This information can include:

  • Investment experience and risk tolerance
  • Account balances and transaction history

All financial companies need to share customers' personal information to run their everyday business. Below we list the reasons financial companies can share their customers' personal information, the reasons Eggz chooses to share, and whether you can limit this sharing.

Reasons we can share your personal information:

  • For our everyday business purposes (to process your transactions and maintain your account): We share. You cannot limit.
  • For our marketing purposes (to offer our products and services to you): We share. You cannot limit.
  • For joint marketing with other financial companies: We don't share.
  • For our affiliates' everyday business purposes (transactions and experiences): We don't share.
  • For our affiliates' everyday business purposes (creditworthiness): We don't share.
  • For non-affiliates to market to you: We don't share.

Oxbow Holdings, Inc., doing business as Eggz ("Eggz," "we," "our," or "us"), provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information through our websites, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Personal Information: Full name, email, phone number, address (which may be collected directly from you or through third-party authentication services like Facebook or Google Login)
  • Financial Information: Bank details, account balances, transaction history
  • Identity Information: Government-issued ID, date of birth, SSN (for brokerage setup)
  • Usage Data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, and interactions
  • Tracking Data: Cookies, analytics, and log data

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Open and manage your Eggz account
  • Facilitate ACH and investment transactions
  • Verify your identity (KYC/CIP/AML)
  • Communicate with you about your account
  • Comply with regulatory and legal obligations
  • Analyze and improve our platform

4. Sharing Your Information

We share information with:

  • Alpaca Securities LLC (brokerage services and compliance)
  • Modern Treasury, Inc. (payment operations and FBO sub-ledgering)
  • Cross River Bank (deposit accounts holding contributed funds prior to investment)
  • Stripe, Inc. (debit card and ACH pay-in processing, identity verification)
  • Analytics providers: Google Analytics, GTM, Microsoft Clarity
  • Authentication providers: Facebook and Google (only to verify your identity when you use federated login services)

We do not sell your personal information. We share only as permitted or required by law.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and tracking tools to enhance your experience and measure performance.

5.a. Google Analytics, Google Signals, and User-ID Tracking

Eggz uses Google Analytics, Google Signals, and other analytics tools to understand how our users engage with the Services, measure performance, and improve functionality.

Google Signals. When Google Signals is turned on, Google may associate your browsing information with your Google account if you are signed in and have enabled personalized ads.

User-ID. If you have an Eggz account and log in, we may assign a pseudonymous internal "User-ID" to your activity. The User-ID helps us understand cross-device returns and does not contain any personal information (such as your name, SSN, or email address).

Your Choices. You can opt out of Google Analytics through browser settings, ad personalization settings, or the Google Analytics Opt-Out Add-On.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information while your account is active or as needed for legal, regulatory, or risk mitigation purposes.

6.a. Facebook Login and Data Deletion

If you choose to sign up or log in using Facebook Login, we collect only your email address and name from Facebook to create and access your Eggz account.

How to Disconnect Facebook Login:

To remove the connection between your Facebook account and Eggz:

  1. Visit your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites (https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications)
  2. Find "Eggz" in your connected apps list
  3. Click "Remove" to disconnect

Important: Disconnecting Facebook Login does not delete your Eggz account, investment account, or transaction history. Your Eggz account will remain active. If you wish to close your Eggz account entirely, please contact support@myeggz.com or use the account closure option in your account settings.

After disconnecting Facebook, you can continue to access your Eggz account using your email and password (if set up) or by contacting support for alternative authentication methods.

7. Data Security

We use physical, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we maintain reasonable standards of care.

8. Children's Privacy

Eggz does not knowingly allow children under 13 to register directly. However, we may collect limited data about minors for custodial or college savings accounts (e.g., UTMA, 529), with verified parental or guardian consent. If you believe we've collected a child's information improperly, contact us immediately.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal data
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Disconnect third-party login services (e.g., Facebook, Google)
  • Close your account
